The Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator will be responsible for collecting performance improvement data that accurately reflects the quality of care provided to patients. This person will ensure patients are scheduled for follow visits with Primary Care Physicians and that clinics are compliant with policies and procedures.

Flexible, may require some evening and weekends

- Review messages from after-hours messaging service and follow-up on patient inquiries and requests on a daily basis - Review and update the Emergency Room Utilization report on a daily basis - Conducts follow-up with patients to ensure ER visit, as recommended and arrange for follow-up visit at clinics - Report patient complaints and grievances submitted to QA Manager for proper corrective action plan, according to policies and procedures set forth by Quality Management Committee - Create acknowledgement letters and manage corrective action plan correspondence with patient - Conduct follow-up on laboratory invoices and ensure all data is complete and accurate prior to processing - Assist in handing regularly scheduled internal site audits - Update and maintain various data reports pertaining to quality of care and patient satisfaction - Maintain a positive working relationship with staff - Other duties as assigned by QA Manager, Clinical Service Director, or Medical Director

- Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook - Excellent Communication Skills - Excellent Customer Service Skills - Bi-lingual Spanish/English (preferred) - Ability to work as a team player and work independently

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or coursework in related field (experience may substitute for education) - High school diploma, GED equivalent or higher - Knowledge of medical charting - Knowledge of medical terminology - Minimum 2 years experience in comparable or related job duties - Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic - CPR Card (Adult, Child and Infant) - Current BLS Certification - Valid CA Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance

OSHA Category 2 – Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but may require unplanned tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
