It uses gentle ultrasound waves similar to that of a prenatal ultrasound to determine bone density inside your foot. A report is generated based on the ultrasound test that will tell you if you have osteoporosis.

It is a GE achilles ultrasound osteoporosis-screening machine.

Does this Machine Use X-Rays?

There are no X-rays involved. It uses gentle ultrasound waves similar to that of a prenatal ultrasound to determine bone density inside your foot.
